Morning Masters

The goals of the ten point Morning Masters™ program are to focus on the elements that truly drive listening for morning shows. Though structure and execution are an important part of the program, we go beyond the basics to help talent create a “sense of show” on a consistent daily basis to help the morning show build loyalty and bond with listeners. Our ultimate goal is to create a ratings and revenue generating show that is memorable and successful long term.

Vallie•Richards•Donovan Morning Masters™ program begins with an evaluation of where the show is now and a vision of where we want to be. The program is customized for the individual talent, show, format and market and includes a multi-component scoring system based on the current performance of the show.

We then score the show on the same elements after going through the program to measure progress in each area of development. Elements we’ll discuss and explore in our seminar include character development, role definition, creating contrast, drama and suspense, entertainment value and humor, production value and show preparation.
