Mike Donovan
Beginning as an air talent, Mike's career in broadcasting includes a successful career in everything from on air talent to programming to television voice work to “on camera” talent sitting in as host of TV's PM Magazine Show and appearing in TV commercials. Mike was a highly sought after voiceover and production talent who's work included national radio and TV spots as well as voice over anchor for the nationally syndicated Billy Packer Basketball Show. Mike still enjoys the success to which he has grown accustomed, but today it is in a consulting capacity.
Mike's upbeat well balanced and passionate approach, plus his many years of radio experience in the Rock, AC and Top 40 formats, complements his ability to relate and perform well in both the creative and strategic environment. In 2005, we were proud to announce Mike's promotion to Vice President of Vallie•Richards Consulting and in 2006 we made Mike’s contributions to the consulting firm and the industry even more apparent by placing his name on the door as we became Vallie•Richards•Donovan Consulting. Mike is in demand from many clients as he has used his unique talents to serve a diversity of clients with an impressive winning ratio in programming Top 40, Hot AC, AC and variations of Rock in markets all over the U.S. Mike also works extensively coaching talent and morning shows in leading the way for VRD in our “Morning Masters” talent coaching program.
